Description: Presented by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation, The College Television Awards is a national competition recognizing excellence in college student-produced video, digital and film work. Each year, we receive entries from hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide. Winners are honored at a black-tie gala in Los Angeles, receive cash awards, industry recognition and the opportunity to network with top television executives. This year, the awards will be hosted by "Franklin & Bash" stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer. Presenters for this year's awards include: Anna Paquin (True Blood), Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy), Paul Blackthorne (The River), Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), Rachel Leigh Cook (Perception), Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance), Tony Hale (Arrested Development), Russell Hornsby (Grimm), Jason Isaacs (Awake), Zachary Knighton (Happy Endings), Rex Lee (Suburgatory), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), David Ono (ABC7 Eyewitness News), Wilmer Valderrama (Awake), Snuffy Walden (Friday Night Lights composer), Cress Williams (Hart of Dixie), Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds) and Ariel Winter (Modern Family). GREY'S ANATOMY director Edward Ornelas will present the Directing award. HBO’s president of programming, Michael Lombardo, will accept the Innovation in Television Award for the network.
